The property is situated on a deep-water canal; a dock is available for your use. Rent a boat or kayak and enjoy Sarasota Bay just minutes' cruise down the canal. This house is approx 1500 sq. ft. It is fully furnished and equipped, and will be perfect for you to enjoy your stay in Sarasota. Parking is available in the driveway. The furnishings are fresh and modern; the owners' appreciation for elemental design and minimalist sensibility is evident throughout the property. You will enter the house past a lush front garden and through a bright, screened-in breezeway featuring a hand-painted mural. Through the front door, a spacious living room awaits with a large bay window, long gray couch, two armchairs, and a new 55" flatscreen television. Just beyond, a pleasant reading nook is available with a bookcase and stereo. An open-plan kitchen is equipped with all amenities: microwave, oven, refrigerator, freezer with ice-maker, auto-drip and Keurig coffee makers, kettle, toaster, blender, and dishwasher. Off the kitchen, a dining area seats 6 amongst an antique hutch and a sculpture of a large, leaping gamefish. The lanai serves as the true heart of the house. A dining table seats 6 for dining al fresco. There are several places to relax and have conversation, and a grill is available for your use. Rather than a pool, this house provides an artificial turf putting green that guarantees hours of fun for all ages. The clothes washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, and utility sink are all located in the laundry room. Beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, and an umbrella are all available for your use as well. Basic cable and Wi-Fi is provided. A baby-gate and bumbo seat is also available for those traveling with mobile babies. At this time, we do not offer a crib or pack and play. The Primary bedroom features a king size bed, a walk-in closet and dressing area, a bathroom with a shower (no tub), and a TV. The decoration is simple and soothing with calming sea-foam colors and fresh quilts and pillows. The second bedroom features a queen sized bed, a writing desk, large closet, armchair, and calm lighting. A unique mural envelopes the room. The third bedroom has a full size bed and vanity with two windows, one looking out to the mango and starfruit trees and the canal beyond. The second bathroom features a tub and shower, sink, toilet and mirror. We rent this home on a monthly basis though shorter stays will be considered.
